Day 1

Depart USA

Depart your home gateway city.

Day 2

Nairobi

Arrival in to Kenyatta Airport. Meet and greet with local guide and driver outside of customs hall. Transfer to a Nairobi hotel for overnight. (meals on flight)

Days 3-5

Orphanage

After breakfast, we will drive to Makuyu, north of Nairobi, to lend a hand and heart at Cultural Embrace’s sponsored orphanage for our H.U.G. project. Play and assist at the orphanage, building/constructing/painting project. Project details TBD, based on group size and orphanage’s needs. All basic meals and shared accommodations will be at the volunteer center of the orphanage. (B,L,D)

Day 6

Ol Pejeta

After breakfast meet with local guide and vehicle. Transfer to Ol Pejeta, check in to campsite. Lunch followed by afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tenteded Camp.(B,L,D)

Day 7

Ol Pejeta

Early morning game drive. Return to camp site for breakfast. Morning at leisure. Lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tenteded Camp.(B,L,D)

Day 8

Mount Kenya

Early morning game drive. Return to camp site for breakfast and check out. Transfer to Mt. Kenya. Explore the beautiful area. Lunch, dinner, and overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 9

Nakuru

After breakfast, transfer to Nakuru. Check in to lodge and enjoy a healthy lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 10

Nakuru

Early morning game drive. Breakfast and morning at leisure. Lunch then afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 11

Lake Elementaita

Early morning game drive. Breakfast and check out of lodge. Transfer to Lake Elementaita. Check in to lodge with lunch. Enjoy the beautiful facilities and spend time on the shores of this previously inaccessible alkaline Rift Valley lake, home, at certain times of year, to thousands of lesser and greater flamingo, Kenya's only breeding population of Great White Pelicans and a myriad of other water birds. The Sanctuary encompasses the northern, western and southern shores of the lake which are surrounded by acacia bush, yellow fever tree forests and open grassland. Buffalo, zebra, eland, gazelle, waterbuck, jackal, lion, cheetahand leopard are just some of the many species of game to be seen..Dinner and overnight at Sunbird Lodge.(B,L,D)

Days 12-14

Masai Mara

Early morning game drive. Breakfast and check out of lodge. Transfer to Lake Elementaita. Check in to lodge with lunch. Enjoy the beautiful facilities and spend time on the shores of this previously inaccessible alkaline Rift Valley lake, home, at certain times of year, to thousands of lesser and greater flamingo, Kenya's only breeding population of Great White Pelicans and a myriad of other water birds. Nairobi/Return home

Early morning game drive. Breakfast and transfer to Nairobi. Depending on flight schedule, stop by bead factory to purchase some souvenirs and gifts of beautiful Kenya. (B,L)
