SPAIN Accommodations

Cultural Embrace can help you find the best and most suitable accommodation for you in Spain.  We pre-arrange your lodging before you depart your home country.  Arrive in  the city and have an address, home, and possibly a meal waiting for you!

There are three main types of accommodation available:  Family Homestays, Student Residences, and Shared Apartments.  All are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.  We urge you to book your accommodation as early as possible to avoid disappointment (especially in summer months). We will send you full details of your housing situation approximately 2 weeks before your course starts.

Family Homestays: 
Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella, Salamanca, Granada, Almunecar 
Living with a Spanish family  enables the student to see and understand many aspects of the Spanish lifestyle in addition to gaining a better knowledge of Spanish culture and traditions.

Many families have been carefully selected in order to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You will be treated as a member of the family.
Even though Madrid and Barcelona are big cities, we always try to house our students less than 20-30 minutes away from our schools. Students can select either a single or double room as well as half board (breakfast & dinner) or full board (breakfast, lunch, & dinner).  Accommodation prices include towel, bed linen, blankets, and laundry.

Unless specifically requested, students will never live with other students who speak the same language.  Cultural Embrace will do its best to satisfy any special needs (e.g. vegetarian, allergic to pets, etc.). 
 
Student Residences: 
Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella, Salamanca, Granada
Residences are located in city centers, about 20-30 minutes from our schools. Here, you will live amongst both Spanish and international students.  Students may select a single or double room as well as half board (breakfast & dinner) or full board (breakfast, lunch, & dinner).  Prices include bed linen, blankets, and cleaning service.  Note that each residence hall has different facilities, but all include basics such as cafeteria, library, etc.

Shared Apartments:
Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella, Salamanca, Granada, Almunecar 
All apartments are located in city centers and each offers personalized attention 24 hours per day.  There are apartments and studios of different sizes and characteristics according to the needs of every student.  All buildings have laundry and air conditioning.  Prices depend on the apartment and it is necessary to give a deposit upon arrival. The deposit will be returned to you at the end of the stay provided there is no damage in the apartment.  Accommodation fees include: bed linen, blanket, access to fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, shared bathroom, shared TV, central heating, water, and utilities.  Cleaning services are not included.

Private Apartments/Hotels/Hostels
Finally, if you wish, we can help you find a private apartment, hotel, or hostel according to your requirements and preferences. There are many hotels within 5 minutes of our schools.
