CHINA 2008 Summer Teach Program

Cultural Embrace has partnered with several Chinese universities and academies to assist the local schools throughout China  (particularly in Shaanxi, Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces) in Summer, 2008.  Be a part of this exciting opportunity as China takes great strides in improving their English language level, as they prepare to host the 2008 Summer Olympics and progress in the world’s economy.

What better way to integrate in to this fascinating country then: to provide a service through your native English language skills, to travel and explore the different regions and culture with others, and to earn a local living while you live in China?!  Summer English Teachers will help Chinese students with the English grammar and oral skills for about 20 hours week, with additional hours expected for class planning and preparation.  They will also participate in extra-curricular activities which may include developing English conversational groups, cooperating in art, science and other projects, encouraging community involvement with activities related to the English language.  A two-day orientation will be facilitated by the administrators of your school, to help prepare you with the academic curriculum, schedule, and tips of living in China.  Classroom experience is preferred but not required, as is the Chinese language knowledge.
