Hospitality Work in LONDON

Work in London is a specially designed program to offer work opportunities within London and the airports that service the capital. Cultural Embrace partners with a local team of placement coordinators, who recruit jobs with employers to provide paid work experience in many different vocational positions. Placements are salaried, with a minimum pay
of the UK minimum wage, (£4.10/hour for 18-21 years old and £4.85 for 22+ years).

The city of London is a culture within itself. It is one of the world's most important business and financial centers, as well as a global leader in politics, culture, education, entertainment, media, fashion, sports, and the arts. Cultural Embrace offers you a chance to immerse yourself in this fascinating city. "Mind the gap" and explore your world!

Cultural Embrace and our local partners will organize three job interviews for you upon your arrival in to London. You must accept the first position you are offered, however, if you are not successful after the third interview, you will qualify automatically for a free placement in other areas of the United Kingdom.  Please see our Work in the UK details.

Cultural Embrace can pre-arrange your accommodations upon arrival and during your interview stage. If and when a job is offered, our local partners can provide assistance and suggestions for long-term housing. Jobs are available in areas such as: cleaning, warehouse work, hospitality and catering, and retail. Chef/culinary positions are occasionally available and are dependent upon experience.

Due to European Union work visa regulations, positions for American citizens are limited to students or recent graduates for a minimum of three months and maximum duration of six months. Citizens from the EU do not require a work permit, and Australian, Canadian and Kiwi nationalities can apply for a working holiday visa from their home country and stay for a maximum of 12 months.  For any other nationalities, Cultural Embrace can make job placement arrangements, however you must be able to obtain the proper visa to work in the UK.
