Intern in CHINA

What better way to experience China’s booming economy and endless opportunities, than through an internship placement? With an average annual GDP growth rate of 9.7% from 1979 until 2005, China has experienced the fastest continuous economic growth in world history. Such enormous wealth creation has brought about endless opportunities for both Chinese and foreign multinationals.

Doing an internship in China is undoubtedly more challenging than an internship in your own country. Being confronted with different ideas, habits, perspectives, and dealing with lots of unexpected situations, will definitely benefit your personal and professional development.  Your internship experience in China will prove to be a truly unforgettable!  This program is aimed for individuals or groups with the appropriate skills to work for a company based in China (Beijing placements most common, but opportunities exist in other cities). We offer a wide variety of internship placements, including but not limited to: marketing, finance, business management, education, medicine/health, and social services.

Internships range from one to six months. Having Chinese language skills are helpful, but not required, and Cultural Embrace includes 10 hours of Chinese lessons per week during the duration of your internship. Additional lessons can be arranged before and during your internship for a nominal fee. Although internships are unpaid, many companies offer some sort of bonus or stipend (~RMB2000/US$250 per month) to foreign interns, but again, this is based on the discretion of the host company.
