2009 Intern in CHINA

Introduction

Do you want to get ahead in one of the world's fastest growing economies?  Cultural Embrace's China internship program will put you in the middle of the action.  Opportunities abound for young, smart, expats who live and work in China.  Get your foot in the door to your future with an exciting placement in China.

Working in China may be more challenging than interning in your home country, however the rewards are also greater. Showing a future employer that you succesfully interned in China will show your flexibility, adaptability and the ability to succeed, even in a foreign country - all qualities desired by an employer.

This program is aimed for individuals or groups with the appropriate skills to work for a company based in China (Beijing placements most common, but opportunities exist in other cities). We offer a wide variety of internship placements, including but not limited to: marketing, finance, business management, education, medicine/health, and social services.

Internships range from one to six months. Having Chinese language skills are helpful, but not required, and Cultural Embrace includes up to10 hours of Chinese lessons per week during the duration of your internship. Additional lessons can be arranged before and during your internship for a nominal fee. Although internships are unpaid, many companies offer some sort of bonus or stipend (~RMB2000/US$250 per month) to foreign interns, but again, this is based on the discretion of the host company.
