"India has been absolutely crazy--but definitely wonderful--so far. From Mumbai we went to Lonavala where we were based during the trekking and ashram stay. The trekking was really cool and the Ashram stay was really nice as well. We did yoga twice daily and were also able to get massages, mud packs, etc. during the day which was really well-timed to follow the trek.The food here has also been amazing...I'm going to be working at the ASRO HIV/AIDS Care Center, there are 7 AIDS orphans there (who are all HIV+) and they are on summer holiday from school right now so I will be able to spend a lot of time with them as well which is exciting. Cultural Embrace pre-arranges your volunteer placement so you can maximize your time abroad. We offer a wide variety of volunteer projects, including: environment/ecology, social services, orphanage & shelter assistance, construction/ maintenance, health/medical/dental, administrative, public policy, economy/business, education/tutoring, and more. Not sure what you want to do, but know you want to do something? Well, we will recommend projects and destinations that best fits your schedule, budget, skills, needs, and goals.

Our programs include guaranteed placements, housing, visa and travel assistance, travel insurance, and pre-departure and local support. Projects range from one week to long-term. Foreign language and technical skills may be required for certain projects. Language lessons are available at most sites.

Week-long projects for individuals and groups interested in a meaningful travel experience. Cultural activities (ie: Spanish lessons, culinary, music/crafts, surf lessons, etc) and travel excursions included. Perfect winter or spring break trips to Jaco Beach, Costa Rica; Quito, Ecuador; Antigua, Guatemala; La Ceiba, Honduras; Oaxaca, Mexico; or Granada, Nicaragua. 

Volunteer in AFRICA
Short and long-term volunteer opportunities in South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, Senegal, and Uganda. Housing, board, insurance, and pre-departure and local support included.

Volunteer in AUSTRALIA
Protect, preserve and restore Australia's unique and beautiful environment. Work in small groups with an experienced Team Leader on various conservation throughout Australia.  Room, board, project-related transportation, insurance, and excursions included.  Minimum length of two-weeks projects available.

Volunteer in INDIA
Work in another culture to stimulate your personal growth while making significant contribution to the local community. Minimum one month volunteer opportunities with included room, board, transportation, insurance, sight-seeing excursions and cultural activities available in the state of Rajasthan, Goa and Himilayan regions. 

Volunteer in LATIN AMERICA
Short and long-term volunteer placements located in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, and Peru. Housing, board, traveler's insurance, pre-departure and local support included. Most projects include 2 weeks Spanish language and additional classes can be arranged before or during your volunteer placement.

Contribute in a practical way by helping to protect the natural beauties of Auckland, New Zealand. Room, board, project-related transportation, insurance, excursions, two-nights 'jet-lag' recovery package included. Two-weeks minimum.
